Day fishing
A typical day depends on the tide and of course the sea conditions.
Often we start just outside Royal Cliff or one of the many reefs
out from |
Asia hotel
and Koh Larn. Depending on the success, weather and tide, we
head out to Koh Pai, Koh Luam and/or Koh
Lin. This is a 2 hours beautiful ride. We normally use wobblers
or skirts on the way out.
If there's season for it, we go for Marlin, Sailfish and Kingfish
with |
|
|
balloons
and live bait. Then it is bottom
fishing with live and dead bait. Most common is Queenfish,
Barracudas, Trevally, Jacks, Pampano, Cobia, Snapper and Rays.
We normally don't get any sharks out there. They are usually
caught in Pattaya bay and around Koh Lin (or Koh Kram outside
Bang Saray). |

Night fishing
We often head out to Koh Krok next to Koh Larn to go for Barracuda
and Sharks. If the condition is right, it is normally Cobia
|
and Snapper
out there as well.
Depending on the wind and sea we head out to Koh Lin or behind
Koh Luam to get to the deeper waters (50 meters). Grouper, Snapper,
Cobia, Barracudas and Rays up to 250 kg can be caught there. |
